• All our solid timber product is crafted using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and delivered fully assembled, eliminating the need for installation.
• Variations in color, grain, knots, and mineral streaks are inherent characteristics of timber, not defects. We use premium FSC-Certified imported timber to ensure minimal knots and maintain consistency.
• Timber naturally responds to environmental changes. To prevent cracking in dry climates or swelling in humid conditions, maintain indoor humidity between 45%–65%. Use a humidifier or dehumidifier if needed, and avoid underfloor heating, which can cause warping or cracking.
• Avoid placing furniture in direct or reflected sunlight, near air conditioning or heating vents, or within 1.5 meters of radiators. Over time, UV exposure may alter the timber’s tone. Use window coverings or reposition furniture to minimize direct light.
• Always use heat-resistant pads for hot items and wipe up spills immediately with a damp cloth to prevent stains. Do not leave liquids sitting on surfaces, as they may penetrate the timber and cause damage.
• Dust timber regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For spills, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid using alcohol, chemical cleaners, or polishes, as these may cause permanent damage or discoloration.
• Be cautious when placing unglazed ceramics or items with irregular bases on timber, as they may scratch the surface. Use coasters, mats, or felt pads to maintain a flawless finish.
• To preserve the timber’s natural beauty and durability, periodically apply eco-friendly wood wax oil. This will protect the surface and enhance its rich, natural tones over time.

In-stock items are dispatched from our Melbourne studio within 1–2 business days.

Made-to-order items are typically ready for local delivery in approximately 10–12 weeks from receipt of deposit.

• Each piece is crafted in Wei’s workshop in Beijing over a period of 4–8 weeks, utilising fine craftsmanship, hand-finishing, and traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery.
• It’s then packed in custom wooden crates for secure international shipment, taking around 3–4 weeks to reach Australia.
• Once it arrives at our Collingwood studio, we carry out a final inspection before scheduling delivery to your home.
