Shipping and Delivery
At Studio BASE, our pieces are produced in limited quantities and many are made to order. True craftsmanship takes time, and we deeply value the care that goes into every detail. We appreciate your patience as your piece is thoughtfully prepared for delivery.
Below is a guide to our shipping options and estimated timelines.
Order Processing & Dispatch
In-Stock Items
In-stock items are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse within 1–2 business days of order confirmation.
Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order pieces are crafted specifically for you and are typically ready for local delivery in approximately 10–12 weeks from receipt of deposit. Once ready, your order will be shipped promptly, and our team will be in touch to coordinate delivery where required.
If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order items, it may be held until all pieces are ready. If you require split deliveries, please contact us prior to purchase.
Delivery Services
Standard Front Door Delivery (Best suited to smaller pieces or rolled rugs under 2m in length)
Delivery is made to your front door or ground-floor entrance only. You may be required to assist the driver where necessary. This service does not include placement, assembly, installation or packaging removal.
White Glove Service (Recommended for furniture items, larger pieces, or rugs over 2m in length)
Includes the option to select a preferred delivery date, with SMS notification prior to arrival. Delivery includes placement in your room of choice, assembly where required, and removal of all packaging materials.
Delivery & Access
Please ensure all items will fit through entryways, hallways, stairwells and lifts prior to ordering. Studio BASE is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from restricted access.
If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, absence or incorrect address details, additional redelivery fees may apply.
Packaging & Returns
Upon delivery, please retain all original packaging until you are certain you will be keeping the item. Returns cannot be accepted without original packaging.

If you require delayed delivery once your item is ready, please get in touch with us. Complimentary short-term storage may be available; extended storage fees may apply.
